Around here, it’s an annual tradition that everyone looks forward to: Jazz Fest Weekend. Each year, more and more people come out to celebrate the genre with two days of live music, fun, and entertainment in the Performance Park amphitheater.
What better way to hear and enjoy jazz than amidst the beautiful mountain background of Estes Park?
Saturday Performers at Jazz Fest Weekend
This year, attendees on Saturday afternoon can dance to the Estes Park Big Band Swing, hear the modern sounds of the Max Wagner Quartet, embrace the trumpets of Gabriel Mervine, and groove to the neo-soul of the Chipman – Hancock Collective.
Sunday Performers at Jazz Fest Weekend
The Sunday schedule follows it up with the strong jazz vocals of Quirktett, the straight-from-New-York jams of the Jeremy Pelt Quintet, and the renowned deep blues and violin of the Lionel Young Band. (For the exact performance times, check out the weekend’s website here.)
The 28th Annual Jazz Fest Weekend runs from June 2nd to 3rd this year, and single day tickets are only $10. Two-day passes are a steal at $15. There are no pre-sale tickets, as tickets can be bought at the door. And in case you were wondering, kids under the age of 12 get in for free! Pets are allowed on leashes, and vendors will be on site with plenty of food and drink options to choose from. There’s also parking available at the amphitheater, Town Hall, and throughout Estes Park. The festival makes the experience as seamless as possible.
