All year round, people from across the country visit Estes Park to bask in the natural beauty that the great state of Colorado has to offer. And each year, it seems as if there’s another reason to fall in love with this place. For many visitors, the latest has been the Estes Park Mountain Music Festival!
With its inaugural concert just last year, the festival drew in huge crowds to see amazing live performances, savor delicious local foods and drinks, and enjoy a host of family-friendly activities in a beautiful setting. It was unlike anything the area has ever seen before.
On Saturday, May 12th, the Mountain Music Festival is back for its second year!
Located in the heart of Estes Park, at the Estes Events Complex, the festival’s doors open at noon, and have a great lineup ahead of them. The first performer, Great Blue, will hit the stage at 1pm, followed by the bluegrass fusion band, Monocle Band, and Banshee Tree. Then the afternoon really gets going with the electrifying string group, Chain Station, with performances after by Heavy Beauty and Gasoline Lollipops. The night ends with a bang, when Colorado’s famous Trout Steak Revival comes on at 8pm to close out the festival. And what a night that’ll be!
General admission tickets are on sale for $30 each and parents will be happy to know that children under the age of 12 get in for free.
The best part? All proceeds from the event go to the Estes Park Schools music programs. It’s the whole package: affordable, enjoyable, and all for a great cause!
If you’re thinking about attending the festival, the Misty Mountain Lodge is only a 5-minute drive away. It’s just one of the many events we’re proud of here in Estes Park, and another reason to visit soon. Give us a call at 855-441-4100 today or reserve your stay online!
