Trail Ridge Road is Now Open

Trail Ridge Road is Now Open

Trail Ridge Road, the legendary Colorado route, took a little extra time opening this year due to a late snow storm in May.  America’s highest continuous road usually opens Memorial Day weekend, but the snow from the storm still stood tall above the cars driving by and opening day was pushed back until May 31st.

Now that Trail Ridge Road is open, there is an endless path to unlimited possibilities and adventure:

Downtown Estes Park

Estes Park is a town known as the base for Rocky Mountain Park, being a popular choice for vacationers throughout the year. Located only one and a half blocks away from the lodge is the heart of downtown Estes. The area is known for its variety of diverse wildlife such as deer, elk and black bears. There are many things to do in Estes Park including, outdoor adventures, shopping, dining, strolling the Riverwalk or casting a line in the Fall River. No matter what you chose to do, Estes Park won’t disappoint.
