All-American Estes Park is a great place to spend your Fourth of July. You and your family are sure to love our abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation, as well as strolling around our charming village. What’s more, Estes Park offers a number of special activities and events for the Fourth.
Here are our suggestions for a perfect Fourth of July in Estes Park:
- Start your day off right with a beloved local tradition, the Independence Day Pancake Breakfast at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church, from 7 to 10:30 a.m. If you bring a donation of nonperishable food, you’ll get a dollar off the $8 admission.
- After filling up on pancakes, check out the Coolest Car Show in Colorado. The name says it all—you’ll find rows and rows of vintage, classic and contemporary cars. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and there’s free parking at the Estes Park Events Complex.
- Grab some lunch after the car show. Then, you have two options: an active pursuit, like hike or bike ride, or resting up for the Estes Village Band’s annual patriotic concert at 7 p.m. The concert features compositions by the likes of John Paul Sousa and is free to attend.
- Stay tuned after the concert for the fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. over Lake Estes! Find a spot in Stanley Park or along the Lake Estes Trail for prime viewing.
